"LOVE IS IN THE AIR" - Meeting No. 206th






















The last meeting was a rapturous meeting. Rapture was the word of the day, introduced by Language Evaluator, TM Evelyn Nabila Yeo Abdullah. There were 9 members, 6 invited guests and 2 visiting Toastmasters attended the meeting. It was highly energetic meeting. 3 speakers deliverers a wonder full speeches, we got to know TM Prakash through his Ice Breaker's project 1, we learned how to be patience from TM Nora of Johor Bahru Club and beware of the consequences of (being an) obesity by ACB Ramachandran. TM Tee created 5 topics related to Love! All speakers were excited with the session.



Also seen at the meeting our long-lost ex-members Akmal, Rajiv and Shamizan - I was told that Akmal signed up the membership form! Well done VPM Raaj! My Dearest brothers Rajiv & Shamizan what are you waiting for? Judging from your facial expressions and your good comments about the meeting, I believed you were happy at the meeting. Anyway take your time, when you are ready, we will welcome you once again!
I am sorry to say to those who did not attend the last meeting, you definitely missed allot of fun! We are nice people, love to have you around. To keep you in the loop, the following Toastmasters were the best / better in the respective categories:

BETTER EVALUATOR: ACS Mohd Awee sidek

    Thanks Jean, hopefully our members can be more interactive with each other. Most of us are very busy with our own schedule of commitments. Sometime they are members who were unbale to attend the meeting, perhaps we can use this tool to interact, keeping in touch and be in the loop!

    Well done! Liza. The blog would keep members who were unable to attend the meeting inform on the going-ons and happenings as well as remain connected with the club. I felt that photos of Toastmasters in meeting action would add colour and bring life to the blog. Keep it up and keep on going.

    Hopefully members will make use of this blog to keep in touch and update themself on what is going on with JB City! I'm excited about this blog, still learning and there are many more things that we could do with it. Need your help and assistance for the input and contribution, I can't do it alone!
